Titan Engineering Ltd is known by many as one of the best respected names in the marketing and distribution of commercial and industrial refrigeration components. Renowned for its technical engineering expertise, Titan has, since 1980 built up a reputation for supplying high standard engineering solutions and products, especially in the field of ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems and for delivering products on time.

It has worked with contractors and design engineers to provide equipment for large supermarket distribution centres, food factory processing plants, ice cream plants, breweries, dairies and air conditioning plants.

Many of the food products available in the UK high street have either been chilled or frozen using products from Titan Engineering.

HMS Queen Elizabeth has over four hundred Robinet valves installed on its J & E Hall water chilling plants.

The largest order to date for the Navy is the order for refrigeration valves to be installed in eleven large water chillers built by J & E Hall.  These screw compressor water chilling package units are used for cooling equipment and for air conditioning the ships accommodation decks.

HMS Daring Class Destroyers
Another large order was received from Johnson Controls (York Marine) for the refrigeration valves fitted to their package equipment on the six T45 anti air warfare escort “Daring” class destroyers. One of the functions of these ships is to protect the new aircraft carrier.

A wide range of ships are fitted with Titan supplied valves or heat exchangers from the Fleet Air Support Ship HMS Ocean and the Indian Navy new aircraft carrier (ex Russian Admiral Gorschikov) to the smaller “Brave” and “River” class Royal Navy coastal and fishing protection vessels. 

Working also with Johnson Controls (York Marine), Titan has also supplied equipment to the Korean and Spanish Navies.

Titan has also delivered marine condensers to the off-shore oil industry for accommodation platform air conditioning package units.

Titan Engineering works with specialist refrigeration equipment suppliers worldwide and is a distribution partner of RTK, a distributor/agent for Le Robinet Frigorifique Francais (RFF), Tecnac and Refflex.

One of its largest successful agencies is the family company, TH Witt, who produce a wide range of refrigerant pumps, pressure vessels and pumping stations. 

In addition Titan is an agent for Onda and the American on load Brush Cleaning System supplier, ATB.
