If a refrigerant leak occurs the dye will leak with it and can be traced by using one of five UV leak-tracer lamps or torches available from Titan Engineering. Simply shine the UV light along the pipe runs, around the compressor valves and the system and to identify where there is a leak. The leak will glow bright yellow.
